If you have visited beyondproperty.co.uk before, you will notice it looks different. We rebuilt the entire site this year, and since we spend our days telling clients to keep their buildings in good order, it seemed only right to explain why we did the same with our own online presence.
The old site was holding us back
The previous website was slow, awkward to update, and did not reflect the standard of work we deliver on the ground. Adding a new service page or publishing an article meant wrestling with a system nobody in the office enjoyed touching. So updates did not happen, and the site drifted out of date.
That matters more in our industry than most. Before anyone trusts a security firm with a vacant building, they check the company out online. If a security company cannot keep its own website in order, it is fair to ask what else slips. We were better than our website suggested, and that needed fixing.
What changed
The new site is fast. Pages load in a fraction of the time the old ones did, and everything works properly on a phone, which is where most of our enquiries start. Every service we offer now has its own page with straight answers on what it costs and how quickly we can deploy.
We also added a free tools section, including checks for insurance compliance on empty properties and planning aids for site security. Use them even if you never call us. They exist because the same questions come up in almost every first conversation we have.
Who built it
The rebuild was handled by Henry Goff Studio. They stripped the site back to plain, fast pages with no bloat, which is why it loads the way it does. The brief was simple: make it quick, make it clear, and make it easy for a property owner with a problem to reach us.
